This is a local connection problem so the first thing is to check your Wi-Fi connection or wired connection.
Zoom says my connection is unstable: Unfortunatly this happens from time to time. If that doesn't solve it, check if there are any software updates for your computer. If you're still having problems, try restarting your computer. My app keeps crashing or closing: First of all, do both of the things above.
You'll usually be prompted to update when you open Zoom if there's an update, but it's always worth checking, as some features change between updates. Make sure you're using the latest version of Zoom: There have been a number of Zoom updates recently, the latest version at the time of writing is Zoom 5.9.3, so it's worth checking that you're using the latest version of the app.
Shut down apps you're not using: Zoom and any video application can be demanding on your computer and internet connection, so it's worth shutting down apps you don't need if you're having problems. Point your browser at and you'll be able to see if any of Zoom's services aren't working, any ongoing problems and what's being done about it.
Is Zoom down?įirst and foremost, if you can't get Zoom to work, you should check Zoom's service status to see if the problem is at Zoom's end. You may ultimately have to buy a new headset.(Pocket-lint) - As more and more people turn to services like Zoom, many are encountering problems that need fixing, and if that's you, don't worry - we've got you covered with some of the quickest and easiest fixes for Zoom problems if you run into troubles. It seems you have gotten a hardware device that got caught between the phase of many OS upgrades.
It would be a coin toss, but you would have the latest OS for free and can reverse it if need be. You can't accomplish that without having better support for sdcard/micro-sd, usb/micro-usb and blueooth/wifi etc. lol However, I am speculating that Windows 10 would have to have much better Bluetooth support because Windows 10 according to Microsoft will run on anything or has plans to have it run on smaller hand held devices. Have you thought about upgrading to Windows 10? I thought I would never hear myself suggest that. I am speculating that the headphones worked in Windows 8, but now not working with 8.1 I am surprised Sony doesn't have a solution to this problem. Reverse what you did in the registry above back to 6.3 Once that is done go to run and type cmd right-click runas admin and type sfc /scannow. If that still doesn't fix the problem then there could be unfroseen damage to files. Reboot the system and reinstall the bluetooth headset. Change the value from 6.3 to 6.2 Close out all the files on the right pane and close the registry. Right-click CurrentVersion and choose modify. With CurrentVersion selected over on the right pane look for (ab string) CurrentVersion. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/Microsoft/Windows NT/CurrentVersion Now go to run and open regedit and navigate to. Go to run and open devmgmt.msc and uninstall the bluetooth driver. Go back to services.msc be sure both 'Bluetooth Handsfree Services' and 'Bluetooth Support Service' are set to run automatically. I don't have a bluetooth headset so I am flying blind here.ġ.
I suspect the driver for the headphones are not compatible and the Sony website says there is no drivers.
